In the days of the Raj, the sausage loving British longed for a genuine banger but the traditional ingredients were not available. The ever resourceful Brits (or more likely their cooks!) came up with a sausage spiced up with tastes of the sub-continent. Pat found her great grand mothers recipe, with 18 herbs and spices, working with Waitrose we have come up with a retail version that is now available in selected stores and from Ocado.
